On Friday May 20th House GOP invited anti-gay zealot Bradlee Dean to deliver the opening prayer. Morrow responded to Dean's divisive comments in which Dean said:

"I know this is a non-denominational prayer in this Chamber and it's not about the Baptists and it's not about the Catholics alone or the Lutherans or the Wesleyans. Or the Presbyterians the evangelicals or any other denomination but rather the head of the denomination and his name is Jesus. As every President up until 2008 has acknowledged. And we pray it. In Jesus' name."

  • @mvdchestnutmoon , I don't think it should matter at all if our president is a Christian or not. The Constitution says there is no religious litmus test for holding office.

  • I guess you can only be American if you are a Christian American eh, you little fuck Bradlee?

  • Watching this only sharpens my views on how the majority of Americans are idiots and actually follow advice from other idiots within "their" country. The prayer was directed towards Jesus to honor his name, nothing more. this man is a fool. And those who follow fools are imbecilic cretins.

  • Morrow is a lost soul.

  • The thing is, even IF Obama was not a Christian (which I believe he is), what difference does it make? If Obama came out tomorrow and said he was a Pastafarian & it wouldn't matter one bit as far as our Constiution is concerned.

Our Constitution allows, with its freedom of religion cause, anyone to run for & hold public office - even POTUS - regardless of their religious beliefs or affiliations.

There is *nothing* in any of our core laws that says you have to be a Christian to be President.

  • This guy is doing waaaaaaay too much.

  • @trythinkingnow Not at all - the BS is all in your camp.

  • @lastdaysguitar In that case your first claim regarding Dean and the dignity of god was utter bullshit.

  • @trythinkingnow Here is a newsflash: NONE of us can approach the dignity of God, He is HOLY.

But you don't believe in God anyway, do you?

  • Congratulations to Morrow for standing up and claiming the SHAME that MN government deserves for allowing this asshole into their midst to pray.

  • @lastdaysguitar Bradlee Dean is to dignity of god what the harmonica is to the symphony orchestra.

  • @lastdaysguitar What "sin filled men"????
