another mod i did to my Trans Am for fun....i like this one!.....its the way kitt should have been for the new show and not the ugly gt500 cobra!

That thing is a peace of junk, the ram air holes are fake. Its like putting up air flaps to help stop the car, how stupid and when I tryed to set in the thing....Lets put it this way, if you are a might you'll fit in it. So stop crying about a car you wish you can have.The GT 500

Did you get those from jason?....i have the stock ram air on my ta and I'm thinking about getting the ws9 hood, hows the ram air cavity in the new hood compared to stock?

@joshmaier18 i really like the hood alot...i got it from roger @ us exotics and the holes are open nice with good flow .....then i got the lights from a guy on ebay.....

@TheSteelersrock1010 no it's not all about looks, it's about a good quality car that runs which is why i'd never buy a Ford. As far as speed goes anything can be supercharged, Trans Am have 350hp stock but can always be upgraded

sweet vid, you need to put in digital gauges and a KITT voicebox and stuff :) my dream would be a KITT replica with a Tesla Roadster electric sports car powerplant ;-) but I notice the 2000 model year and up, they already pretty much looked like KITT not much external modification needed. ;-)

the ram-air hood option,made a 20HP,more than a standard trans am(2001-2002) rated at 305hp,ram-air version has 325hp.1998-2000 trans am(standard) made 285hp,ram-air 1998-2000 was rated at 305hp.all were underrated.my 2001 ram-air automatic dyno 306hp at,rear tires,and a lot of 6 speed ram-air t/a,2001-2002 pulled around 311hp.so these cars had about 350hp from factory.

@MrBlaze001 the ram air holes are not fake. they actually do force air into an air box located directly behind the nostrils you see. These cars are classics and make the GT500 look like crap. I could buy a gt500 tommorow if i didnt feel it was a waste of money compared to the boss 302 or svt cobras which are the only cars they make worth having. yeah the inside is not luxurious, but when it comes to speed and racing...its the best. i have raped many of the gt5's and 5.0's. terminators are nice.

A fucking 4.6 mustank only puts out about 215. My 3.8 puts out as much as that stock! All ponys can do is run. A bird can fly.

@MrBlaze001 It's very easy to make the ram air holes functional (the airbox is right there behind the intake). If that is all it takes to make it a "peace" (the right spelling is "piece") of junk then you must hate just about every car out there, especially the mustang for having just about every scoop and vent fake. Or how about the 4th gen Camaros with the hood scoop where the carburetor would be except it doesn't have a carb.

The LSx cars have a ton of go fast parts, best mod motor
