Tigercat arrived to late for USN service in WW2, used as Night fighter by USMC in Korea, several 'washing machine charlie" kills. Remarkable aircraft, but somewhat fragile landing gear. Also had the glide angle of a brick with engines off, although with power on can be flown very low and slow with no loss of manuevering .. Many used right up until 80's as fire bombers.

So is this one named G-rumt?
If so, I wonder if the namegiver had a danish/english dictionary with him, cause "grumt" translates to "nasty"

I believe it was sold to a private owner, but I could be wrong. It should be there by now.
