It is easier to fly high and fast than low and slow, especially with a 5 lb FPV plane. This video shows a demonstration of the stability and slow flying ability of Scott and Mikes Deep Reaper XL that flew a 72 minute flight. It also has Will S. and his slow flying with a Grim Reaper.

  • I just checked and it is working now. Sorry if there has been a problem.

  • The Deep Reaper is a great flying slow flyer if it is light. It still flies well with added weight. There is another video called "John's midmotor Deep Reaper -XL" on youtube and on crashtesthobby com that shows a light built DRXL flying in the wind. This is a big plane and flies very well.

  • We know the FPV views are of great interest. Hopefully soon Mike and Scott will be posting some of those videos too.

  • website does not work. help please.

  • what motor /prop combo?

  • FPV is awesome! I'm new to aerial RC I want to get in to it, but I don't want to buy a beginner plane and grow out of it too fast. I want to eventually do this FPV stuff. My hobby shop is trying to sell me your titan to begin with. Is the Deep Reaper XL a bad plane for beginner?

  • Awesome Flight!

I Would to See The FPV View of This Flight!

    Just A Fantastic Aircraft!

    Thanks!
