  • Easiest way to improve racing is to train more. Wheels help, but without a decent rider on the bike no amount of carbon or aero advantages can help you.

  • Lol guys at this weekends crit I am going to race with a rear disc!!!!!

  • Gota work on that 2 piston engine to go faster.

  • does cycling with raised sit makes an adult to grow longer legs?

  • Race with aeros? are you kidding, thats a death wish.

  • Essentially more money gets you a lighter bike. And in the world of cycling weight difference makes a huge difference to the performance of it.

If two riders of equal ability race, one on a cheap $100 bike and one on a $10000 bike, obviously the one on the expensive bike will win. The cost of a bike is generally relative, but not restricted to how well it will perform. But it dosen't take a 2 year old to figure out that rider ability is important.

  • awkward turtle

  • most people are better off buying new shoes rather than wheels, the extra stiffness can work a charm and it costs much less

  • @frequencydude You're a bloody MORON.

The sponcers " waste " thousands of dollars on bikes because they can afford it, what you are doing is saying people who arnt rich should go out and blow all of their money on a great bike because it helps a lot , IT WONT HELP WHEN YOU GET BLOWN OFF THE BACK WITH A $15000 BIKE.
