Carmina Salcido

Carmina Salcido, was the lone survivor from her family's 1989 murder at the hands of her father Ramon Salcido. She has recently finished a book about the ordeal and her attempt to restart her life. @vickizspace The Tuckers we're more than "very religious and different," they were abusive. Somethings were ommited from the book in case you've read it, and will be added in the second book when I eventually write that one. You see that is why it blows my mind how a "catholic" person like my adoptive father could pray for more than 2 hours a day and say the rosary, and go to confession every week yet sexually abuse me from 3 years old till I was 15!?

@vickizspace Im keeping that name because for once I have the opportunity to make a good name out of a name that one man made bad. This was the name given me at birth, a name I am proud of and wish to make good! It is the offical last name of my Mother Angela and Sisters Sofia and Teresa.

I went to visit Ramon to forgive him face to face, to see for myself what he was or if he had changed. I smiled for the camera because thats what I do. Not because of or for Ramon.
