  • Philip Catherine is always interesting that's why i love listening to him

  • @AvivCMusic Philip Catherine was called "young Django" by Charles Mingus and for good reason. Philip is a brilliant player who has played Jazz and Prog'Rock using both electric and acoustic guitars ;he is also a talented writer . An accessible and melodic ,guitar based album that you may wish to check out is 'Transparence' . Instruments on this recording include double bass, piano , keyboards and drums(on one song).I myself have just ordered 'Moods 2' by PC and Tom Harrell .God Bless.

  • Wierd thing is, I'm not really into jazz.

But I just discovered Philip Catherine today, and he's amazing!

    Thanks for uploading
