This is an absolutely TV classic debate between Candy Stroud and Frank Zappa. Note how Candy Stroud keeps repeating all the lyrics she does not want kids to hear on records in front of a live audience full of families and children, to be broadcast on national TV.
Part 2 of 4.

  • Here in the USA it's okay to show actual moments of death, military footage, car accidents, riots, etc.,but to show a nipple in a body soap commercial is taboo. Is that why we lead the world in serial killers? Is there a collective repression that makes us into war-mongering freaks? Is that energy channeled by Govt. somehow? If you believe in the words of Sun-Tzu, like our politicians and military leaders still do, Yes, repress sex=get pissed. Use that to get ppl to justify voting for war.

  • I guess they hadn't heard Dynamo Hum.

  • hahaha heavy metal making violence acceptable.....the US government has been doing that since its inception. You sir.....are a yuk.....just a real yuk.

  • The Doctor they interview, Dr Thomas Radecki, had his license to pratice psychiatry removed for 5 years in 1992 because of "allegations of inappropriate sexual activity by Dr Radecki with one of his female patients." Guess he had been listening to porno rock himself

    !

  • She said masturbation is healthy. I'd like to watch her getting healthy!

  • I was hoping he would ask her "what's wrong with masturbation?" Masturbation has its drawbacks but it has to be done -:)

  • which TV channel is this? They break for commercial ALL THE TIME

  • "Brown Shoes Don't Make It" still one of my favorites. That should be played at every Presidential inauguration. I wish Frank could have been around to write an album AFTER Bush Jr., Jack Abramoff, Santorum, Cheney and Rummy. THAT would have been another triple album; "Republican Frog Wash box set." The Illinois Enema Bandit for POTUS 2012!!

  • If this debate was today, on FOX , they would be stepping all over each other, screaming to get the point across

  • America, this is your life - Lest we forget.
