@herrfilip No,the locos are operated in tandem by one driver in the lead locomotive,Class 37s were routinely used in multiple during their careers from the early 1960s, Locos used in triple were not uncommon and also on occasions 4 locos coupled together on heavy aggregates trains.

Saw 37417 at the back of Eastleigh EWS depot today, without nameplates and looking very sorry for itself!
Nice to have a video like this to remember it by!

@theamateurbasher Still alive..? Well, maybe just, but it's a shadow of its former self! It is currently stored in the "dead" row with two Fertis 56s, so who knows exactly what will happen next..
