l'accostamento di battisti al fascismo non era dovuto a mancanza di sensibilità artistica, piuttosto all'esigenza in quei tempi lontani di politicizzare qualsiasi cosa. Figuriamoci se il più bravo cantante italiano poteva sfuggire a questo giochetto. Per fortuna è stato molto abile a non cadere nel tranello e a non schierarsi mai. Ogni cosa va contestualizzata al tempo che si è svolta.....

What a beautiful language, a beautiful voice and a beautiful song. I have no idea what the lyrics of this song mean, but I love it. It has passion. I got this album 35 years ago and still have it. I met an Italian teacher at a party recently, and, when he told me that Lucio Battisti was on his way to becoming the "Elvis of Italy" and that he had died, that made me sad. He had a rare gift, and I'm sorry he didn't become really famous outside Italy. He was really wonderful!
