Got a copy of "Foolish Wives" years after seeing this documentary. Was disappointed that Kino Videos hadn't preserved the soundtrack we hear in "Mavericks", but instead opted for a ragtime-y piano to accompany it. Seemed to suck a lot of the atmosphere out of the film, having that goddamn piano plunking away...

btw - I'm interested in doco/s about 1940-1950's hollywood, about the decadence and slight-sleaze of hollywood and the various colourful and eccentric characters and filmakers back then if anyone knows of a doco like this, cheers
