@Fortijake15 yeah. The rope light I got online. Google for led rope light. $20 got me a 6 foot multiple flasher pattern.

@Fortijake15 it's a light set that has a pre programed flashes and what not. I set it on random and let it go. You can get these lights at any target or walmart in the Xmas isle.

This is a real cool idea, but I do not understand the last part with the dowels....could you put up a picture and show how they were place inside the styrofoam. Also how did you make the ball drop. You are a genius!!! Thank you for sharing your creativity.

@Gatikabela The dowels are so you can hold the outer shell centered on the ball, otherwise the shell will sit on top of the inner ball leaving a big gap at the bottom. I stuck in like 6 dowels in to the ball, then the shell rested nicely centered.
the ball drop. I poked a whole through the middle of the ball and ran a clothesline through. Then tied a big knot at the bottom to hold the ball. Strung up with a clothesline dolly hook from our high ceilings. You can get all the items at home depot
