I remember as a teen just crying as I listened to Parkening play that whole Bach album. Brings back memories. Beautiful job. Very moving.

Parkening Plays Bach is one of my favorite albums. I can't even imagine how much time you put into this difficult piece.
Beautiful rendition! Bravo!!!

it's good, you should play the viola and continuo part and sing the tenor!!

I heard a lot of your stuff. Now I know how you played in your day. I'm both speechless and inspired to crack open up that classical guitar book I have, and get started. It was a pleasure getting to know you! :-D

Argh, where can I find this arrangment? This is one of my favorite Bach pieces. Brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. Wonderful interpretation.

Thank you. I love this piece as well. The arrangement is by Christopher Parkening and can be found in a small book titled Parkening plays Bach. I adapted the arrangement for solo guitar since it is arranged for two guitars.
