I think it's actually a prerequisite that pug owners must name their pups something awesome. Buddha for instance or Bruno (my pug ;).

@TruthBKWN "Buddha" was not his name, it is a title that is given to many beings. Given the nature of Buddhist teachings, it would be impossible to offend Buddhists with names- there is just not the objective sacred quality to words in the same sense as "God" or "Jesus." Because it is a name that would tend to make people smile, it would likely receive Buddhists' approval.
