Rogue Galaxy was released in NA in 2007. By Level-5. Play as Jaster Rogue, a young man from the desert planet Rosa who gets mistaken for the Legendary Bounty Hunter Desert Claw by 2 pirates, Steve and Simon. Travel The galaxy visiting different planets and obtain information about the Legendary treasure planet 'Eden" that also contains the "Immortal Soul" Which will grant you imortality!

what do you mean by controlling characters one at a time? Is it like old turn based rpg's in which you tell them to do something and then you sit back and watch a animation of attack if you pressed attack, or do you actually get do get multi-hits if you use you're input right?

....I don't like old turn based rpg's cos' they're passive and boring to me, but action rpg's are okay. I bought this game but I have yet to give it a try.

@sayastra well this is more of an action rpg, you control 1 main character in battle(You can switch) and the others are just controlled by the A.I which is VERY good in this game. You can give commands like "Concentrate on healing" Attack same Target ect, so then your other 2 characters will do what ever you tell them to do. but this is NOT like the 8-16-32 turned based rpgs.

This along with Suikoden III and Shadow of the Colossus is one of my all time fav ps2 games...so epic

@yeismeload GREAT CHOICES!!!! I just finished up my 2nd playthrough of suikoden 3 and i really cant get enough of that game. of course shadow of the colossus was one of the most unique games ive ever played! LOOOVE this SYSTEM!!!!!

Ive played level 5's early game dark chronicles and thought it was ok but had a little to much dungeon crawly for my tast. Should i get this game?

@Epicgob Id stay away from this one then! because theres just about the same # of dungeons and they're long as hell. Yeah, id pass on this one if you dont like dungeon crawlers

i remember geting stuck in this game and i got so fustraited that i stole my cuz save cuz he beat the game but it the best ps2 game in the world

this game is up there as one of my favourite action rpgs of all time, awesome gameplay , graphics and great storyline, turn based rpgs or action rpgs doesnt matter , i love them both! lol

This game is no way as complicated as may appear in the video. This video is very late in the game, so trying to cover everything in a review is very difficult. Anyone worried about this being a lot to take in, I'd say not to worry about it, as for the first couple of hours or so, the game really guides you as different features are revealed and become available.

@benzo8686 your reviews are awesome man. entertaining but very informative. most game reviews even though from gamespot don't say much about the game. the whole reason i watch reviews is to see if i should play and/or buy the game and most reviews just don't give enough information for me to do that. lmao IGN reviews are complete shit. i wonder how much money companies give IGN to give some of their BS games such good scores lol

Nice review! I`m playing this game for the first time just now. It`s a shame you never displayed a little bit of the Insectron thing. I think it`s best to leave it until late into the game where enemies give you more money. It`s too expensive to play while making regular progress through the game.
