Thanks for that and good luck with finding that job. I'll probably be the next SFC student but some mates of mine have said airlines dont take on modular students??? so I dont know lol... but I dont think thats true!

No i'm not a student with SFC but am seriously considering doing the zero-atpl course at SFC. Would you reccomend it?

great takeoff! Love the DA42! Are you by any chance doing the zero-atpl course at SFC?

The only airline that does not take on modular students as far as I am aware is BA ! Most others will. BA will accept modular however, if you are experienced (ie 1000 TT and 500 hrs on type) and are applying though the Direct Entry route. Be aware though that more and more airlines especially low-cost are expecting you to fund your own Type Rating AND Line Training !! It's tough out there !!!

Yes I would recommend SFC, their training standards are very high and they have quite a relaxed and easy going atmosphere there unlike Oxford Aviation where I have trained previously. Also their rates are very competitive, their twins are nearly £100 per hour cheaper than Oxford Aviation. They have accommodation on sight which is pretty good too. I intend to go back there in the summer to do my IR & ME renewal. Good Luck !!

Glad you like the vid, I filmed it last April as I was doing the IR course at SFC over the summer which I qualified for in August. I did the ATPL's and CPL/ME with Oxford. Just trying to get a flying job at moment which is almost impossible, just got to keep trying !! Are you training at SFC ?
