I live in Ajax and it's a pretty nice place below the 401. Above it is all crime and whatnot.

I've been there. Unfortunately I had no time to stay longer than one or two hours, but the place is very nice. However the water in the lake did not look very clean, no one was swimming there, although it was a warm day.
