Why do you have that whistle in your amp I had that one time with mine when I modded it to a switchable 1 and 5 watt amp but it was a simple fix

Hiding the feedback.. I see what you did there ;)

oops, i accidentally deleted adajensen's comment that said :hey BYU,
man, you got some great taste in gear. i know ive bothered you before...but....
how does the DC-30 (ceriatone) stack up against the ac15HW?
i am a VOX ac30 guy myself, but just wondering if you could recommend some el84 (VOX-y) type amps that compare to the ac30's ....matchless dc-30? badcat?
nice playing BTW
are you on any forums?"

the DC-30 is slightly voxy, but not really. It sounds a lot more like a hi-fi amp than a vintage soudning amp. You've really got to play a DC-30 or a badcat before you get one, they're totally different beasts than a vox, but they were built with a VOX as the starting platform (at least some models).
Do you like the cleans or the dirty sounds of the VOX?
I highly highly recommend the new handwired heritage series from VOX. Check out my videos for the AC15H1TV. The ac15's are plenty loud.

of all the VOX-style amps I've played or owned, the Gabriel Voxer is by far my favorite. It's the perfect amp for me. Perfect volume, perfect flexibility, perfect feel, and most importantly, perfect tone. The sound clips on his website really are what the amp sounds like.

i played one the other day with the 1x12 cab, I was impressed. nice warm tone with good breakup. Not as BAD ASS as yours though.
So, out of all you've had, which was your all time favorite ? LET ME GUESS, VOX HANDWIRE ???

Yeah, those little Valve Jr's sound great with their 1x12 cabs. I actually have two that I'd be willing to sell (unloaded). Let me know if you're interested Kev.
My alltime favorite was a tie between the DC-30 and the AC15HW. If I could only keep on amp, I'd probably keep my 15 watt matchless. It's super versatile, and it sounds incredible on any setting. It sounds especially good with my homemade 2x12 with a blue and hellatone.
