Setter Attack (Dump)

Here the setter (#8) is playing front left rotation, and therefore is allowed to jump and "dump" the ball onto the opponent's side. This a sneaky play because it can be hard to tell if the setter is jumping to set the ball (possibly for a quick attack) or preparing to dump it over the net.

In addition to the dump move, notice the positioning of the players after the serve receive. The setter moves to the setting position (front right/center). Player #9 readies for a possible quick attack. Player #7 (black knee brace) readies for a strong-side attack (he is actually playing front right rotation, but is shifted over for a strong-side attack).

Hahah it's pretty funny seeing all you people who dont know anything about volleyball, you may say this kid "lloyd ball"?? is horrible or just plain bad, but the reason he DIDN'T go for the one handed TIP was to catch the other team off guard, because obviously the libero would have seen it coming and would have easily stopped it. so just be quiet, and talk about a sport you know
