Tricopter FPV crash

Just out flying FPV with a tricopter for the first time and decided to take off the video glasses to bring the tri back visualy. I ran into a little trouble when I found out that it was facing the wronge direction. I should have let off the controls and let the gyros level but I didn't. Better luck next time and lesson learned.

I live in Utah. This was flown in Provo. Check out RC groups. There are a couple of tri threads. The tri in this video had a frame made from 1 inch foam.

Who says there is any crash?  Just consider it a skillfully executed inverted landing.

Great flying.. Very smooth flying characteristics, pity about crash. It looked like you was well in control, and a glasses landing would probably have been event free.
