@sakigaby Teach him it's nothing to be ashamed of...in fact in time he'll be proud to learn who he really is.

I have only heard of this movement for about 1 1/2 years but it truly has been a wake up call for me. I finally understand that you are speaking on behalf of all of the natives in this continent including us, the so-called mestizo with the Hispanic/Latino label stamped in our foreheads. Never again will I call myself that. No support from my own family. My father who is "self-educated" is a strong supporter of the "Latinoamericano" concept and calls me a "bruta" for not agreeing with him.

I try to do this work every day and have brought many people home already. It's very hard work indeed. mostly the native people here in this country learned how the dominant culture deals with uprising. they kill us.speaking of accomplishments, did you know that sequoyah (and no it's not just an suv) was the ONLY person in history that created an alphabet by himself? he did it to show the whites that we were intelligent and capable. they marched us west and killed us both here and there.

Osiyo. Uwohilatlitigv dagwado.
I am Cherokee and Mohawk, so trust me, I hope in time we stand up to the tyrannical governments that plague us all. Native pride! (I'm doing a crow-like war cry, but no one is here to hear it...) One day, that will change. I hope.

Honestly.. Anyone who watches the history channel will know about the Achievements of your people. I'm mostly white and already knew this. Although, I didn't know about the loving the creator part.

Wow, i had no idea that Opie(Ron Howard) was gonna make a vid on that treacherous white, Cortez and his Malinche broad, glorifying them?!! And Antonio Banderas to portray tata Emiliano, never, i'm not racist but how can these white folks understand the grandfathers legacy and way of life. Thumbs up AnahuacPilgrimage and tlaskamati to Naui for the AWESOME share! = )

I watched a video on abusive relationships in my leadership class. They described the nature of them and the "signs" of abuse in a relationship. The victim is made to think the abuse is normal or is even unaware of it. The victim is controlled by being told what to do and think and of course is abused physically.
I realized this is exactly what Europeans do to Nican Tlaca and other races.
