  • @GreenManalichi Well damn I did not know that, thanks, duh on my part!! I forget more then I remember sometimes, well they say we learn something new every day guess this would be mine. :)

  • @GreenManalichi Im too young to have seen the origanals but i got tickets to see them in London this summer. Even they ain't the same they are still 1000x better than any of that new "rock" out there. Johnny has a realy good blues voice though. Medlock was also brilliant in Blackfoot but the song white dove.... just wow how he managed to get them high notes. An american Freddie Murcuary :D

  • @Jaketheoutlaw I loved Medlock when he played in Blackfoot. I went to see em back in my hayday, and Im not saying he sucks in LS... just aint the same "boys" that I grew up with. And YES...it is a damn shame the way they all have passed on

  • @GreenManalichi Saying that Rickey Medlocke is second closest he did some stuff in the early 70s though it was only recently he rejoined 1996 i think. Sad about them all but you can't kill legends.

  • It's actually Curtis Loew not Lowe...just sayin. :)

fan: OH my god i shit my pants

  • @Shar3735 Sorry Shar, but Billy died in 2009 of a heart attack

  • Billy is dead.

  • @GreenManalichi Also there is still 2 original members of the band, Gary Rossington (guitarist) and Billy Powell (keyboards), who are still touring with the band to this day, and Johnny Van Zant could be considered a pretty close original member. :)

  • @Shar3735 This is true Shar, but IMO, they could be construed as just a cover band now.
