Great! This was the first episode I saw. I didn't notice it at the time because I was too young but no one looks especially 50s here even though that's the show's time frame.
Damn-- its been over 30 years since I've seen this episode air for the first time and it's still sooo f...cking funny! Classic! Nothing comes close to this except Lucy and Ethel on I love Lucy! The best physical comedy show of the 70's ever! Both Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams never received the credit or awards that they deserved for their work.... It's great how so many on this site recognize their talent now!...
Cindy Williams and Penny Marshall don't get enough credit for being superb physical comediennes! This show is a classic. Closest thing we have now is "New Adventures of Old Christine" which also has lots of great physical comedy by Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Thanks for posting this great clip!!
