This song is an original song about the dark side of fame. I wrote it when Britney Spears was having problems with the media, my heart went out to her because the spotlight was on her 24-7. Many people said Britney deserved it since she made a bargain with the media and fame. Yes, it's true that if you're a creative person and you seek fame, you get the nastiness that comes up with it all, it's part of the territory. But it's still sad to see how fame can be so toxic.

This song is also about how the adoring public can live their lives vicariously through the famous.

Fame is like a big whirling vortex sometimes, sucking the celebrity and the public down into the celebrity culture. But oddly enough, it's what many creative people will seek because they want to share their creations. :)
