  • I honestly think she gonna put together a comeback next year like her sister did this year winning two tourneys and making it to the final of the us open she came back quick and is already 14 in the world and i hope venus will do the same

  • @kcrusaders1 I agree. She doesn't look masculine at all. And i love that dress on her!

  • Venus was playing so well here! She could have made it deep into the tournament as she always does. (She's never lost in the first week of the US Open.) Hope she comes back strong and wins at least 2 more majors!

  • whoever can look at this and believe Vee looks masculine needs their eyes checked. great way to close the match!

  • i hope venus comes back and win some more grand slams!!

  • for those who are always putting down williams sisters because of their ethnicity and built while glorifying the other players. Here is some news flash, Vesna Dolonts is also masculine looking.

  • i was there :-D

  • @MrPrincefuego Yes she is training...and I agree on the age thing...she was 30 last year and she was no. 2 in the world (and I'm sure she has Sjogren's signs then as well)...people tend to forget about all that...if her treatment even makes HALF as much of a difference in her energy levels and overall feeling on the court, she'll be in GS conversation...that's just a testament to how great she is.

  • @QuadThreat85 is she back training already?? I mean i am really missing her on the wta tour....but i want her to comeback strong, healthy and better than ever. so i hope she takes care of herself and not rush things. i know she's 30 now, but that's just a number to me, it's mental.

  • @MrPrincefuego yes sir...she's probably trying to come back to early (speaking of her illness)...I mean she can take huge confidence from beating Serena once, but still most of what I read seems to say that one should expect 6 months to really notice significant improvement in symptom management...and here we are 3 months down the road, and she's trying to strut her stuff...I know she wanted to try, but she should really take this time to train and manage symptoms, not compete.

  • @QuadThreat85 what the dry eye thing??
