PART 5
I wake up and look at the time, it's 9:23 am on a Friday, no school today. I walk outside into the living and see Taylor sitting at the dining table. He glances at me and looks down and pretends to read the newspaper. I look away from him and sit on the couch. Taylor comes to me and leans against the couch looking really sad.
"We need to talk," he explains sitting next to me.
"What's there to talk about?" I ask looking away.
"Well...about yesterday...," he says looking at me.
"What about yesterday?" I ask glancing at him and then looking down.
"I was such a jerk, and I couldn't sleep at all knowing that I've hurt you, I was just you know paranoid about losing you, and I couldn't trust you, but I do now, and I am truly sorry Selena I really really am...," he says sounding so apologetic.
"Are you really sorry? Or you're just saying it...," I say looking at him as I hold back my tears that apparently still haven't ran out even though I cried an ocean last night.
"Selena...look me in the eyes, I truly am sorry about hurting you," he takes my hands and looks at me with his dark brown eyes and I begin to cry.
"I'm sorry...," I say looking down as my tears fall into my lap.
"Babe, don't be sorry, you didn't do anything wrong," he pulls me into a hug as I continue to cry and my tears fall onto his shirt.
"Hey so what are we having for break-," Demi walks in on us.
"Hey Demi," I say pulling away from Taylor as I wipe my tears on my sleeve.
"I'll ask later...," she walks back into her room.
"So you forgive me?" Taylor asks.
"Yea...," I say quietly as I nod my head.
I look at him and smile at him as his eyes begin to shine as bright as the moon in the night sky. The condo doorbell rings, and gathering myself together to go answer it. I walk up to the door and wiping my face once more, I open the door with my trembling hand. I see Nick dressed in his regular jeans and a short sleeve shirt, he stands there with his hands in his pockets. He notices my tear-stained face and his eyes widen.
"What happened? Who made you cry?" Nick asks worried as he quickly comes inside.
"You know Nick, I'm fine really...," I reply backing away from him.
"So this is Nick," Taylor says as he enters the hallway carrying Alex.
"Oh look it's elevator boy! So you're Selena's boyfriend?" Nick asks in disbelief.
"Yeeaa...," Taylor says standing beside me.
"Cute baby...," Nick says.
"Thanks you're actually-," I cut Taylor off.
"You know what Nick, it's nice that you've paid a visit, but I'm busy soo...here's your leather jacket mmkay bye!!" I push Nick out the door and throw him his jacket as I close the door in his face.
"I was actually enjoying his company," Taylor says with a smirk.
"Taylor you know Nick doesn't know about Alex yet...," I say looking at him.
"Sorry, I mean he's the dad, he kinda should know...," Taylor replies.
"Well he doesn't and he never will know," I explain taking Alex and putting him in his highchair.
"Well bye people," Demi says walking past us.
"Wait where are you going?" I ask eyeing her suspiciously.
"Joe and a few other people wanna hang out...," she explains grabbing her bag from the hook on the wall.
"I'd come but I have a kid...," I whine.
"Ohh go ahead Sel! I'll take care of Alex," Taylor urges me.
"Really? Awesome!!" I quickly go to my room to change.
Ten minutes, Demi and I are waiting for Joe and his friends to pick us up. Then, I see Joe in a black Ford Fusion with 3 other people in his car. Nick, and two random people I don't know.
"Selena, Demi, meet David Henrie and Taylor Swift," Joe explains turning to face us from his driver's seat.
"Ahh so this is the famous Selena, you know Nick has told me-," Nick cuts him off.
"Soo where should we go?" he asks.
"Santa Monica?" I suggest.
"Santa Monica it is then," Joe exlaims and drives off.
We arrive at the beach, and I hop out and feel the cool beach breeze flow through my hair. Demi drags all the way until our feet began to touch the sand. I take off my converse and sit on the sand. I look behind me and see Nick taking off his shirt exposing his abs, I quickly look away and I see Demi staring at me with the same look she had when Nick put his jacket on me.
"What?" I ask.
"Ohh nothing...," she smiles to herself as she plays with the sand.
