I was standing at that moment on the strip waiting to start up Rob Van Geffens top fuell super twin bike when this happens.Unbelieveble to witness Barry Sheavills got out the crash unharmed...

Why would anyone wish to see someone die? I'm sorry but that does not float my boat.

That was the worst thing I ever saw.....mainly because it ended the dismal career of the yawnworthy sheavills. So now we have to listen to the tedious prick on the PA system every time a real driver comes round in top fuel.

@dragster428 Hi Pat I don't have the copy that your on about , and it's going to be hard getting your copy off Ray now because I think he has left the country , This copy I posted came from one of the TV Programes that were shown , but if I can find the file from when I posted it your welcome to have a copy, just keep reminding me , because I forget things . lol

I remember seeing this live, although from the 60ft markers on the bank - it didn't look as bad as the cameras show, I remember think he's just blown the engine and caused it to crash, but causing the frame to snapped, was never on my mind.

A lot of debris went through the Scrutineering tent at the top of the pits, one wheel went through the tent & bounced & just missed Geoff Houser who was selling fuel at the end of the bank in the shutdown area.
