Hi there, I rarely use the snares, like the sound better when they are off. However, it's nice to have that option. If you have to change between snares off and on quickly (say, in the middle of a song), I would recommend the foot pedal model, as they seem to be quicker in this regard.

Hey I'm curious how you like your snare cajon? Do you like the adjustable snare system? I'm thinking about the foot pedal model.
