You have never heard of "baroque gestures", I guess?! That's what she is doing.

Maybe you realized she is the only one singing by heart in this performance of "Maddalena" - that's because she was asked to underline her singing with baroque gestures, it was a decision by the artistic directors.

Just watch some other videos with her, you won't see any "mysterious movements by her hands", when it's not intended.

  • @awfulguitarplaying

Ok "awfulguitarplaying", just keep thinking like that. Don´t move from that point.

  • @jedjethro thanks for the comment :)

  • @citlaltlamina believe or not "my friend", i watched many sopranos, counter tenors etc., they only sing their songs and do not need to do these kind of "iconic significances". because they good at singing and do not need to do anything else.

  • @awfulguitarplaying

Well, try hard not to show your-self-assness in front of everyone.

Each movement had an iconic significance which have to be discover and understand from others art expressions. Step by step my friend.

    Don´t be aompaneuak.

  • @awfulguitarplaying It's called the "performing arts".. Hand gestures are appropriate. She's Mary Magdalene in this piece, so I gather. Her hand gestures help to convey her love of Christ

  • Wonderful!

  • ok. she has amazing voice but i think that there is no need to make some mysterious movements by her hands. she is not rescuing the world, relax

  • Impresionante belleza!!

  • just beautiful
