if this is the best the Democratic party can come up with, maybe it's time to vote Republican. Quinn keeps saying the furlough days are the problem--they aren't. most of my coworkers would agree to those. but even if we give him the furlough days, Quinn still wants some layoffs, salary cuts, to break our current contract, etc. AFSCME may eventually have to lie down with this lying dog (politics), but i won't. and, unfortunately for the needy in this state, Quinn will probably be around awhile.
