Here's a video on how I repair/strengthen my stock landing skids. The stock skids are cheap and break very easily. This way you can get a little more life out of them. The kleenex is used like fiber glass cloth in auto body repair.
For this, you will need kleenex/toilet paper and some crazy glue.

  • This is an awesome idea, first day I broke the front part of the skid off and used some clear tape and a paper clip but I got to try this to stiffen the skids. Thanks for the idea.

  • Tried your idea on my 120sr landing skids. Worked great, but i used ca tire glue (almost the same as crazy glue) with zip kicker for a better bond and strength. Thanx for the tip and posting this vid.
