yea ! this must be a good day. last time i listen to this song was in the beginning of the 90ties. it was in our free (sub-)culture centre. the gouverment blew the whole building overnight - and in there was my sound system and an old doors cassette that somebody brought and left...the last decades i tried to find out on which album it is and the name of the song - nothing. sometimes i thought it was a dream... the search is over.. and the dream.

i read it.. good to be not alone with this song

The doors were one! One body just trying to help people break on through, see things for the first time. Morrison deff lead the way but the band would be nothing without Ray, Robby, and John. Jim even said so himself he hated when people announced the band as "Jim and the Doors" they're the Doors..one group one body

Maybe Jim decided to change it to "room"; lyrically it expands the reality beyond just sexuality and into a deeper sense of loneliness.
