This session kicked-off the default aversion track by presenting findings from the newly released study "Delinquency: The Untold Story of Student Loan Borrowing". This study examines the repayment experiences of student loan borrowers using data provided by five of the largest student loan guaranty agencies, including TG. Its findings provide valuable insights into the impact of borrowing and student loan indebtedness. Most importantly, findings from this report will help inform the dialogue (taking place at the closing session of the default aversion track) about student loan programs and the tools available to help borrowers avoid delinquency and default.

Presenter: Alisa Cunningham, vice President of Research and Programs, Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP)
