Excellent !!!!

agreed--the tempo works fine! It makes the verses so joyous and vibrant.
-
Why is it nonlegato? Do you want the congregation to sing staccato?
-
The tempo is Perfect! Works well with the melody and the words. Well Done! There's nothing more frustrating then singing a long song at such a slow/dragging tempo on a Sunday morning. God Bless!
-
Of the versions of this posted on YouTube, this is the best overall, imo.
-
Well it should be bright and played with a faster tempo. This is a song of rejoicing!
-
Quick tempo? I don't know anything about music but just think how quickly your swelling heart will beat when Jesus returns! Come LORD Jesus!!!

Noting that your comment appears to imply that you are from the roman catholic church, I was wondering if I could discuss with you the difference between the roman catholic church and the reformed faith, could you perhaps tell me how you believe someone may stand right before God?

although it is quite a beautiful hymn, playing the Helmsley tune at this frighteningly fast tempo (in the Catholic Church, at least...) is the only way to keep the Mass under a solid 2 hours.
That is a VERY quick tempo...

i think hymns are okayed much too fast these days. There's no majesty in them and plus you don't have time to take in the text.
