You are correct that the word dying should have been used to refer to death. However, dieing is not a word. Dyeing is the act of coloring with dye.

Perhaps you should be less reckless with such hateful responses? Particularly when in doing so you hypocritically make the same mistake you so harshly criticize.

By the way, that interview that I was quoting Pat in was with Barbra Walters approx 7-8 months b4 Pat died. It was one of his most important final interviews about his life and he made no mention about God or if God was important to him in any way.

Good works or being a "good person" and doing "good things" is nice---but they cannot get us into heaven with the Lord. If our own good works could save us, then Jesus would not have had to die on the cross for us. Jesus said, u must be "born again"

“We spent a lot of money on some the best foresters in the country to help us design a 200 year forest stewardship plan that we have almost pulled off in 15 years. If I leave those kinds of legacies by way of example of how we could do it right,I’m a happy man”

Sadly Pat made no mention of God or Jesus Christ or helping his fellow man--only about how important his trees were to him, good 4 the trees, but it won't get him into heaven.

Come to Jesus with the cigarette in your mouth, the bottle in your hand, the needle in your arm. U cannot clean a fish before you catch it. God is in the business of transforming us from the inside out. Gospel means "GOOD NEWS"--- and the good news is that Jesus came to save us from going to hell, but U must invite Him into your life!
