@nhprman well that would be relevant if he used pronouns like "you" or "they" when explaining what the bible says, but he includes himself in this by saying "we" and "us". The bible tells us not to judge someone for something we do ourselves, it doesnt tell us to not point out flaws that our entire culture has. read his book "radical". it explains how his church is trying to get back to what the bible teaches.

Guys, I used to go to this church. It's a great place. He doesn't have half the gadgets other churches have because he knows that God's church doesn't really need them. So what if he inherited a big building with a big congregation, does that make him a bad pastor? Absolutely not. He is a god-fearing man, and he reads straight from the Bible. He has inspired so many people to go out into the world and preach the good news. We all should do the same with our lives.

Why do people complain about a megachurch? Should they put a limit on how many people they let in? Christ had thousands following him on foot...should he have turned them away saying there is too many? However, why am i shocked? If you don't know Christ then there is no way you can understand. What you should try to wrap your mind around is that the "church" is not the building, It's the people. We are the church. Put us in a tent and we'll worship the same.

@savana906 "Who is righteous? no not one says the lord" 1) That's a botched quote. 2) God did not say this 3) Paul said it, MISQUOTING and misinterpreting King David, whom 4) God called Righteous, and David himself calls himself righteous before God both before & after this phrase in the Psalms (and the Psalms are POETRY, not dogma.) Prooftexting is fraught with danger.

@nhprman Who is righteous? no not one says the Lord. But... the point is, someone has to give the message.. don't you think? if we try to shut these pastors mouths up... who is good enough to preach the word then?
