Hello,
I used to live at 11 S Pitt in the basement apartment a few years back. In the video you can see the little roof over the first stairwell on the left. That's where I lived down those stairs where quite a few gallons of water goes. I'm sure glad I don't live there anymore!!

My old landlords have a small drain hole outside the front door at the bottom of the stairs. While I was living there(around one year) there were 3 floods and the place flooded all 3 times. I have photo proof of these floods and my numerous damages. These people mention on the lease about not having problems since they installed drain system BUT it does every year since I moved out(probably before too). Have proof of that too.

DON'T RISK IT!! They didn't care when it happened to me and showed up each time with little vacuum to run across the carpet(which they refused to replace). Also they brought dehumidifiers. The place stunk like swamp water. You had to keep the carpet. One of the landlords told me, "Sh!t Happens, What can you do?". Should have hired an attorney, instead I salvaged what I could and moved to higher ground. LESSON LEARNED


ALSO in the video you can see the BLOCKHEADS driving through the deep waters sending waves of water into storefronts and other residences. I might laugh in the video but maybe after everything I went through it was all I could do. LESSON LEARNED

My goal is to save people from being a victim because whenever I see someone new moving in, one of my old neighbors used to laugh and ask me if I "met the new victims yet"...
