  • Hey, willbefree-- The entire set from the Pomona show (two days before this one at the El Rey) is now on YouTube. I tried to paste the link, but it wouldn't let me. Just search for "Frank Turner Glass House entire set". He introduces "Polaroid Picture" starting at about 28:25 in, and I can attest to the fact that he said essentially the same thing before he played the song at the El Rey. Hope that helps.

  • Sorry; I cut that part off to save my camera's battery. But I heard it twice last week and I can give you the summary if that's good enough: First, he asked how many people had been to London, then said there was a club called the Astoria that was demolished to make way for another commuter railway, sarcastically remarked "Like we haven't got enough of those already", and then said (something to the effect of) this is a new song about holding on to the special moments before things changed.

  • this is the best video of this song ive seen so far!!! thanks SO much for posting it :)

  • I really hope he puts this on The Second Three Years. This version is awesome; personally I think he's better live than recorded but the studio production behind this song would make it extra mind blowingly awesome. I'm still gutted about the Astoria so this song is extra special. Love, love, love it. Good recording as well! :)
