I would also add Spartacus being much more intelligent than Crixus. Spartacus displayed a higher level of strategy through Blood and Sand while playing the board game with Batiatus. Even Batiatus was impressed with Spartacus' patience and strategy. I'm sure that has a lot to do with Batiatus being the Dominus while Spartacus being the slave. But this season I think the commander sent to take out Spartacus isn't so bold as to underestimate Spartacus as every other Roman has up to this point.

I agree as he still thrives in a fight just as he did in the arena. The only difference he isn't fighting for fake glory in the arena any longer. He fights for a cause much bigger than him.

Gannicus is undefeated in the ring as well. But a loss is a loss in my mind and Crixus falling in his 2v1 with Spartacus is defeat as he lost his champion status due to Spartacus' rise. Defeat doesn't always measure in wins and loses as far as fights go. He lost his status in the crowds' eyes which is defeat as well. The fact remains and Crixus says it himself, that he will never fully accept champion due to the fact he fought and defeated Gannicus in the arena.

Gannicus and Crixus were kinda equal, only Gannicus AND Oenomaus were to much for Crixus

Crixus isnt the man he once was.. They need to kill that bitch naevia off and get crixus back in that bad ass killer mode.

what i hated about the fight of oenomaus & gannicus vs crixus & agron apart from making crixus kinda weak but gannicus's comment to oenomaus "we can easily best them if we fight as one" yeah u can easily best agron but crixus c'mon man he's the undefeated gaul, my 2 favs crixus and gannicus but to make gannicus SO MUCH better fighter or gladiator is really fucked up they should be equal or crixus slightly better the man did stay undefeated for 5 fuckin years

i wouldnt say they made him appear more weaker he is equal to spartacus and they have grown close now as he kept his word to get naevia back to him he delivered etc i feel he's still every bit as strong :)
