is this the first scub of the day because people have different practices based on first scrub of day and there after.i met a student that told me you never pass a bovie cord through a towel clamp because the cord might arc cause of mirco breaks in the bovie cord?never seen a patient burned from that yet.i think the students are getting burned by bogus instructors.these people complaining must be new students

@RobZiak that is an example video you dumb ass.just out of curiosity how long would the video have actually taken if they did it properly.are you from south dakota.if i had a dime for everytime i heard a tech complain i would be a wealthy man.do you use a measure tape to go two inches above the elbow.hey i wonder what her infection rates are...you might be suprised

you remove first your gown before removing ur gloves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and scrubbing is usually up to 2-3 inches above the elbows !
that is only hand washing not a scrubbing !
bec. in scrubbing u nid to have ur brush !

this video is BS. No one that works anywhere in the medical field is allowed to have nails that long. And when scrubbing you have to scrub with a brush all the way up to your elbows, and it takes anywhere to 5 to 7 mins to scrub up. And your hands must always be above your elbows, and when you rinse you start and the hands and make a complete pass threw the water. You cant run your hands back and forth, if you need to keep rinsing start back at the hands.

This video is badly done. The technique here is absolutely frightening how bad it is. I would never let my student's scrub like this.
