And to think that I have often taken photographs behind those barriers around Brands Hatch !!! I have seen many shunts there but never one as big as this one that could have easily killed or seriously injured a Track Marshal, Photographer or spectator. Everyone's lucky day including the driver.

One of the most terrorfying accidents in Brands Hatch's history. As rare as it was spectacular. How no one was injured is a modern day miracle.

it's just amazing how safe todays racers is. 5-10 years ago and he would have been badly injured, if not even killed
