si es musica venezolana pero muy mal representada, por eso es que muchos aqui la categorizan "no venezolana" por que esta muy por debajo los standares De nuestra musica linda, especialmente de la gaita zuliana. yo tambien estoy de acuerdo con muchos que han visto este video esto no es musica realmente venezolana por estar muy mal representada.

After the Europeans did the same thing? Were the Indians the first or was there someone there before them? Who knows? People move and intermarry, cultures mix. To be sure, there are no pure traditions that were not once started as the result of some ethnic "impurity". But your comment sounds a trifle racist and I don't like racism.

That's interesting that all of you should say that this is not Venezuelan music. It's:
A) Performed by real Venezuelans;
B) In Venezuela;
C) Using rythmic, harmonic and (somewhat) melodic forms that are shared by many indigenous South American Indian tribes;
D) And presented as traditional music by the Venezuelans who performed it.
What part of that doesn't make it Venezuelan, even traditional, music?
Or perhaps you think that the only traditional Venezuelan music came from Europe?
