@CNKILLERCLOWN When the track at the Amtrak station in downtown Memphis was being repaired, was the second mainline you mentioned used? I know that people were shuttled to Millington to get on the Amtrak train. Just curious how they detoured around downtown Memphis and meet up with the southbound track south of the refinery?

Was gonna ask why no horn, but other people have already asked it seems.....

Windows are closed with the A/C on. If you turn up the volume very loud you will be able to hear the whistle being blown for crossings.

Sorry, I still don't understand why they're not whistling for crossings. Nothing at the top of the page explains that. Is there a reason?

@crazyrailfan152 An abandoned second mainline. this was double track from new Orleans to Chicago. The second mainline was removed in the early 90's..

little father up the track would be the Kerville Crossing .
Millington is my Stomping Grounds & the Woodstock switch yard & the Motorsports track were practically right in my back yard
