For fair isle this is how I get started and set up for knitting the stitches, I tension my yarns over the 1st and 2nd fingers, not by winding them round my pinky. I increase or decrease the tension on the yarns by placing my 2nd finger tigher against the needle and tension the other yarn by holding the first two fingers closer together (squeezing them). Spinalpaca asked for this.

  • @Phoenixarrow1 - I'm was knitting a baby blanket for my friends wee baby .. she and I developed the pattern online, there is a chart for working this design on my blog knitknitfrog(dot)blogspot(dot)­com date of post is Thursday June the 7th 2007
