To submit to your husband or not to submit to your husband? That is the question!!

Ladies pray that God prepares you for all things He places in your path no matter what it is. The around us has changed but God has not. We must live our lives according to God's will not by society's every changing fickle guidelines. Only He can supply us with our needs regardless of what they are. And remember both husband and wife are to submit to God so submission does not apply just to wives.

I think that "If you have a God-fearing husband" is the key phrase that can make that mindset so much easier. I am not married (nor have I ever been) but one sunny day as I was driving Jehovah spoke to my spirit to say "If you marry the God-fearing man I have made you for then there is no need to worry about submitting." I will forever remember that moment. There was no sermon or bible verse that preceded this divine thought...It was purely my Heavenly Father.

So many times we can hear a voice that is in NO way the voice of GOD, but when "HE" speaks to us we often choose to not hear him! I know what ill say will have no effect but the smartest man that has ever lived leonardo da vinci believed in a concept termed microcosm, where the body mirrored the universe/cosmos. You have prob heard of yin and yang. Well these dual forces is meant to be in balance both in the micro and the macro, the female and male sexes are the archetypes of these two forces in the macro and are suppose to be of equal sovereignty. With the MAN being the HEAD of the wife then HE must lead and be the example as CHRIST is OUR example. Indeed the man is sanctified if the wife follows God but the wife can also be sanctified by him.

@dantej32 THe bible says for wives to submit it doesnt say submit as long as you think your husband is following God it says to submit and that if your husband isnt following God then the wife needs to be a better example that the man may be saved through her example.
