The International Day of Peace, September 21st, provides an opportunity for individuals, organizations and nations to create practical acts of Peace on a shared date. The United Nations resolution "Declares that the International Day of Peace shall be observed as a day of global ceasefire and nonviolence an invitation to all nations and people to honor a cessation of hostilities for the duration of the Day" A global ceasefire is not just negotiated by governments. It is built by each person when nonviolence is chosen to solve a confrontation. Use IDP to choose and teach nonviolence in your communities and homes. The begining of the video is showing the devistation that war causes. Not saying that war brings peace. Which is basicaly what the text "A world where people talk before they shoot" means to me at least.

yup 9 days.. I worked as an intern and designed this project...we didnt have enough time to launch it fully for this year but next year it will be a bigger deal along with some other things..check out the link I have in my description blurb.
