Mass Effect 2 - Xbox 360 Infinite Squad Points

Update: on 5/17/2010 Bioware released a patch that removes this exploit. However, you can still do this if you clear your 360's harddrive cache and play offline.

This trick grants you infinite squad points in the Xbox 360 version. The only requirement is having at least 4 points and a skill ready to be evolved. When evolving a skill, press X+A simultaneously.

Also note that this can be done at any point in the game. You can even do this if you've already reached level 30. Simply use the "Retrain Powers" upgrade.

alright people. I just found a LEGIT WAY around this patch. fist, unplug your internet and sign out. next, clear system cache. next, log into your profile (OFFLINE!!!) and do the trick in the vid. next, save your game. next, plugin your internet and sign onto xbox LIVE WITHOUT signing out or going back to the dashboard. which means just press the guide button and press connect to xbox LIVE. once connected, go ahead and download the update and then load your LATEST SAVE. and BOOM! your all set!!!

Ridiculous cheat. It will more Challenging and harder and also better to EARN squad points than cheating extra points to yourself >:(
