February 9th, 2003 (premiere February 8th, 2003)
a rite of spring, from silence & stillness to wild improvisations
inspired by the original COBRA movement in the early 1950s and rejuvenating (art)revolutions in general.
for this realization the dancers were arranged to begin with slow, internal movement which they increase continuously.
the musicians and the live-set change together with the dancers, increasing constantly in intensity, calligraphy expands across the stage, objects are placed around and accumulate.
ideally the audience would be free to come & go observing the process...
