ethics is another class at mitty, but if it was fajardo who taught her class, then there is a possibility that it was in religion. This seems a lot like a CAC project since there was an entire project devoted to that.

Interesting. I think they are weaving ethics into the class and I don't know if/whether/not this topic was her choice. I would hazard a guess that she chose it

Weird, when I went to mitty we didnt touch racism in religion, we did everything related to racism in contemporary american cultures.

This made me cry, too... and this child who made this has never heard a racial slur in her life, never seen a sign saying "Whites..." and never traveled in the South.
Our daughter does know and understand cruelty, persecution, redemption and mercy. I hope your tears are sad with hopeful edges...
