I have never heard this remdention of this song, but i love it, just simply fab, the last not i didn't like but the voice is just simple terrific.

You obviously don't know about African American Spirituals, and it wasn't a performance, it was a Liturgy. AsI am a Dir of Music/Liturgy for an inner city black coongregation ( yes Lutheran ) this man was ready!Pun intended!
